Therefore, only the data which are absolutely necessary are collected. Partner Life manages the collected data with the necessary care and processing only takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter GDPR) as well as the data protection regulations applicable in Liechtenstein and Switzerland. In the following, you will be informed in detail, among other things, about which of your personal data is collected by Partner Life, for what purposes they are used, with whom they are shared, and what control and information rights you have. 2. The legal basis, as far as GDPR applies, for the lawfulness of the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR, since Partner Life uses the automatically collected data in the course of the pre-contractual legal relationship with regard to the effective provision of the website, as well as Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, as the storage serves the legitimate interest of the Partner Life to ensure the stability and security of the website. Further information on the collection of personal data in the context of visiting the website can be found in the section "Cookies" (see section 9). The automatically collected personal data will only be stored by Partner Life until the above-mentioned purposes have been fulfilled, unless Partner Life still needs it for the purpose of fulfilling the contract or there are legal, statutory or contractual retention periods or further storage is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. 6.2 Contacting Personal data that you provide to Partner Life when contacting us via chat or e-mail will be stored and processed by Partner Life. This data is used by Partner Life exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for the contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis, as far as GDPR applies, for the legitimacy of this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR, as this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract between us or corresponding pre-contractual measures, as well as Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, as the processing of these requests is in the interest of both parties. Your personal data will be stored after completion of the request for a period of three years from the end of the calendar year in which the request is processed. After this period, Partner Life will delete your data or retain them only to the extent that legal, statutory or contractual retention periods exist, or if further storage is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. 7. Processing of your personal data when using our services on the website Partner Life offers services on the website (e.g. creation of a user account, contacting us, viewing dashboards or managing contracts). When using these, Partner Life requests personal data from you. The required information is always marked as mandatory fields. Without this information, Partner Life may not be able to provide you with the requested service or to answer any inquiries you may have. Among other things the following information is required from you: - Name, - username, - email address and - log-in and password details The data you provide will be stored by Partner Life for the time during which you use your user account, unless you delete it beforehand. All data can be managed and changed at any time in the protected customer area. As far as GDPR applies, legal basis for the lawfulness of the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, because it is necessary for the effective provision and management of the user account in accordance with the contract between you and us. Unless exceptions apply within the services mentioned further below, your personal data is stored until you delete the data or your user account as a whole. After deletion of your user account, your personal data will be deleted within 90 days. Legal retention obligations or the requirement of your personal data for legal action due to misconduct in the use of services or payment problems may lead to Partner Life storing your personal data for a longer period of time. 8. Cookies Partner Life uses cookies on the website. These are small files that are stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar), when you visit the website. Online advertising and analysis tools Partner Life uses the tools listed below for online advertising and analysis. As far as GDPR applies, the tracking measures used by Partner Life are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para.1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. With the tracking measures, Partner Life aims to ensure the ongoing optimization of the website. Furthermore, Partner Life uses the tracking measures to statistically record the use of the website and for the purpose of optimizing the offer. The respective purposes of data processing and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools. 9.1 Google Analytics For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our platform, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google in the USA. Partner Life has activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address will be stored within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, to compile reports on its activities and to provide other services to Partner Life related to the use of the platform and the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. Partner Life has concluded a contract with Google for data processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR (as far as GDPR applies) which is governed by the agreed so-called standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission that enables the transfer of data to third countries. You can prevent the use of Google Analytics at any time, either by installing the Google browser plug-in, which sets an opt-out cookie, or by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser software. Salesforce uses your data only for the technical processing of requests and does not share it to third parties. In order to use Salesforce, providing a correct e-mail address is required. In the course of processing service requests, it may be necessary to collect further data (name, address, etc.). Further information on data protection in connection with Salesforce can be found at https://www.salesforce.com/de/company/privacy/. 9.3 Pardot Partner Life uses the services of the analytics tool Pardot to send newsletters. The provider is salesforce.com, inc, The Landmark at One Market, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Pardot allows Partner Life to analyze its newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent via Pardot, a file contained in the email, called web beacons or tracking pixels, connects. These represent one-pixel image files stored on the website. For the evaluation, the access data and the web beacons are linked with your email address and an individual ID. This can determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links may have been clicked. The results of the analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of the recipients. Disclosure of personal data to third parties Personal data may be disclosed to third parties who act on behalf of Partner Life in order to process the personal data according to its underlying purpose, for example the fulfillment of the offered services, evaluation of the user behavior of the website or technical support. These third parties are contractually obligated by Partner Life by means of agreements provided for by law to use personal data only for the agreed purpose or not to pass on your personal data to other parties without permission, unless required by law. Partner Life can also share your personal data within the corporate group for the purposes of contract management or developing and operating products but will always provide a corresponding contract for this purpose or obtain your consent. Some of the recipients are located outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA). Transfer of personal data to third countries It is sometimes necessary to transfer your personal data as described above to countries outside the EU and the EEA (so-called third countries). Specifically, Partner Life transfers personal data to service providers in the USA. Please note that in third countries, there may not be an equivalent level of data protection as in the EU. However, when transferring your personal data to third countries, Partner Life will take appropriate measures to adequately secure your data. Storage periods The goal of Partner Life is to process your personal data to the smallest possible extent. Your rights You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by Partner Life.
